For my future PC i'm buying windows 8.1 Pro and i'm trying to learn as much as i can on installing it. I want to know how do i partition my SSD (500GB) so that i have 150GB for the OS (i like it this way so it's organised, one partition for the OS another partition for different thing) and the rest for my Games and films and music ect. I'm hoping the process wont be as complicating as manually partitioning a drive for Ubuntu.

The best way to install 8.1 is to delete all partitions from the SSD, then start the install. 8.1 will partition the drive as needed. Once complete, you can resize the large boot drive to 150GB and make the rest into another partition using Easus Partitiobn Managr.
