Hi there,
Does the windows 8 consumer preview dvd, when booted ( not inside windows 7) take a very long time to see a prompt for 'press a day to boot from cd/dvd' ?
My windows 7 dvd comes up with this prompt immediately.
I know my checksum for windows 8 is fine, and I used the windows 8 tool as on this forum to burn the DVD, yet the install process seems a bit flakey to me.
Is this huge delay to seeing a prompt, just part of the 'preview' status of windows 8 installer, or is it something else ?
I am postive my burner is fine, likely all my Sony DVD's are fine, and burning and booting a linux OS DVD has it giving prompt immediately, so thats not it either.
thanks
