    Windows 8.1 x64 won't boot to start

    Hello,

My Windows 8.1 laptop (without touch screen) automatically opens the desktop when powering on. This is really frustrating as all my applications are on my start screen and i dont really use the desktop. The option "When I sign in or close all apps, go to desktop instead of start" is turned off in taskbar properties.

    Thanks,
    Liam

It seems that the problem has magically disappeared, I don't know what the problem was.
