Is that the built in laptop keyboard or external keyboard? If it's external you may need to go to that manufacturer for the software. Example, SetPoint for Logitech keyboards.

WOW, is that disk a mess...

you are gonna need to make a system image of D and E..

But look in that restore partition for install.wim or install.swm(s)

The ATK utility listed in the downloads for my ASUS K75DE installs fine in Windows 8.1. I have to select Windows 8.0 from the drop down list for OS selection to get it listed as a download though. That would suggest that its not needed in Windows 8.1. I do believe I installed it anyway, as its a prerequisite for the Smart Gesture Utility. F9 on boot up was the factory reset function on my ASUS laptop. It does not do anything now for me since I've done a clean install. I don't know the commands to access the factory restore partition, or restore it's functionality. Not yet anyway. KYHI may be able to help you with that though. Is there anything marked in Device Manager with a yellow ! or red X?

you can now Browse thru and find Install.wim or Install.swm(s) - those are your Factory recovery Images..

    open command prompt(admin)

    type> reagentc /disable

    type> C:\Windows\System32\Reagentc /Setosimage /Path R:\RecoveryImage /Target C:\Windows /Index 1

assuming the install* file(s) are on "R" and in a folder called "RecoveryImage"
    - change drive letter and folder name to suit your system setup

    type> reagentc /enable

    reboot PC

Then go to control panel > recovery > Create a recovery drive..

At this time YOU DO NOT WANT TO DO A FACTORY RESET - just create the factory recovery media

What do you have for external storage media? to backup those two drives, as you appear to have some GB's of data on them
