Add features or clean install? Just wondering, for future reference is all.
    Clean install.
    It overwrote the 8 OEM.

I used my Microsoft account & the telephone.

That's another reason why I the OP should contact the seller, he shouldn't have to pay twice for the OS.

That's why I suggested the VLC player.
It's free & is supposed to play stuff like WMC.

Yes, that's a good suggestion, I've used that program even though I have Media Center. I had some videos that were not supported in MC. I'd still be worried that Windows will some day come up as Not activated though if that VL key gets blacklisted.

Yup, D is right - VLC is great. Alternative would be - IF that PC is activated with a retail key - to install the retail version activate it with the current key and the add feautures will be available.

LLawliet, what is your Product Id at the bottom of system properties?

OKAY. I have a Surface Pro with 128 GB storage so I want to conserve space by using my 64 GB micro SDXC card which is seen as a removeable drive. It is so small and sticks into the pro to where you can't see it. It does not stick out so I just leave it in there all the time. How would I get...

I've had my laptop for about a month now and when I first got it I did something (and I don't remember what at the moment) that said I needed to add the media center pack.
