Yeah it is a volume license, sorry about not listing that, i did not know it would make a difference, is there anything I can do to get it on there in that case.

From Add features FAQ's: Add features: FAQ - Windows Help

You might not be able to buy a product key online in some countries and regions.

You can only add features to Windows 8.1, Windows 8.1 Pro, Windows 8.1 KN, and Windows 8.1 N, or Windows 8, Windows 8 Pro, Windows 8 KN, and Windows 8 N.

If Add features to Windows 8.1 or Add features to Windows 8 isn't available on your PC, you won't be able to install the Pro Pack or Media Center Pack.
I suppose it could be that your country or region may be one that this isn't available in.

That would raise a red flag with me? Why did they sell you a VL copy, I don't think that's actually legal to do that?

EDIT: If they used an MSDN key and it gets blacklisted by Microsoft, your PC will come up as Not Activated.

The only thing I know of is buying the ProPack WMC.

I bought mine when it was $40.
    The price went up.

Yep, that would be why then. It needs to be a retail or OEM license.

Good idea, I'm not sure if that would work in this case though. The OP has no "Add Features" to enter it in. Normally you enter that code from 8.x Core right? This is a bit of a sticky situation? If I was the OP I think I would be calling the seller and asking why it shipped with a VL copy of Windows.

The ProPack has its' own Product Key.
I installed it over 8 OEM.

edit--- I went to Staples & asked the manager about what I needed. He advised me correctly.

Add features or clean install? Just wondering, for future reference is all.
