Ok so Im trying to install windows 8 on my laptop which doesn't have a cd drive and Im not about to go out and buy a large enough usb stick just to install it .. I've looked in the stores and all I can find are 64 gb usb sticks which are expensive and Im not made of money.. with that being said.. I created a dhcp server using my desktop to install windows 8 on the laptop.. it seemed to work until it got to "setup is starting" .. it popped up with the error webclient: there was a problem initializing wds mode" .. I only have the two computer connected through my router.. this is not a huge workplace network and I am not an IT guy.. I just want some help getting windows installed without being forced to purchase a usb, external cd/dvd drive or having to connect the hard drive to my desktop.. any help would be appreciated
