    Ok so luckily I converted my disk to GPT and cleaned it and I was successful to create a partition and I assigned it. when I went to the installation process, I choose drive 0 partition 1 and clicked next. I got an error that said "We couldn't create a new partition or locate an existing one. For more information, see the Setup log files."

    I managed to create the missing partitions , the system, reserved and primary. I go to the installation, click next and the installation starts. After a while an error pops out and says that we couldn't format one of the partitions and I realized it was the primary partition. So I went back and tried to format it using "format quick fs=ntfs" but that didn't work and I get an error message. After that I typed in active and this came up:"THE SELECTED DISK IS NOT A FIXED MBR DISK.THE ACTIVE COMMAND CAN BE ONLY USED ON FIXED MBR DISKS". That's basically my only obstacle for now

    boot from your windows setup media - when you get to the setup screen that asks you to "install to" click advanced and delete every partition until you only have unallocated space.. then select that unallocated space as the "install to" - windows setup will create all the partitions it needs..

    Yeah I did that too and I got a primary partition with 300 mb. So I realized there is a problem with my primary partition where windows has to be installed.

    copy and paste this into a txt file - named partitions.txt and copy that txt file to the windows media usb stick..

    ===============================================================
    select disk 0
    clean
    convert gpt
    rem == Windows RE Tools Partition 1 ==
    create partition primary size=350
    format quick fs=ntfs label="WINRE"
    assign letter="T"
    set id=de94bba4-06d1-4d40-a16a-bfd50179d6ac
    gpt attributes=0x8000000000000001
    rem == System Partition 2 ==
    create partition efi size=100
    format quick fs=fat32 label="SYSTEM"
    assign letter="S"
    rem == Microsoft Reserved (MSR) Partition 3 ==
    create partition msr size=128
    rem === Windows Partition 4 ===
    create partition primary
    format quick fs=ntfs label="WIN_OS"
    assign letter="W"
    list volume
    exit

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    - Boot the computer using the Windows 7/8/8.1 installation media.
    - On the first screen, press SHIFT+F10 to bring up command prompt.
    - Run the following commands at the command prompt.

    diskpart /s d:\partitions.txt
    or
    diskpart /s e:\partitions.txt

    depending on usb drive letter - should be d or e usually

    This almost sounds like a problem with the BIOS settings - it might be wise to reset everything to optimized defaults, make sure UEFI is enabled (but legacy/CSM support is not), and that the USB stick is formatted FAT32 (just in case). If it still fails at that point, it's probably a problem with what's on the USB key, or the key itself (it doesn't sound like it's a system problem if it had a working install on it previously - assuming the system was otherwise working properly before it was wiped, of course).

    selecting " new " from the un-allocated space should create a 4**GB partition

    so not sure how he just getting (1) 300MB partition

    when windows setup will create the 3 or 4 partitions it needs..

    He should be receiving a message stating - windows needs to create the needed partitions - then he should be selecting yes
