How to FULLY reset Windows 8?

My Windows 8 laptop has been giving me hell lately, is there any way to reset it even more than using the "Remove everything and reinstall Windows" method? I have tried it was too much but my PC is never the same as it was when I first got it.

So, once again, is there any way to FULLY factory reset my laptop? To even the LAPTOP's factory defaults?

    Thanks :-)

    Hello Bashan,

Here's a link at HP for how to do a system recovery with Windows 8.

You can download an ISO and do a Clean Install, see this tutorial: Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 ISO - Download or Create

    See Option One.

Thank you! So both of those options will 'reset' the whole laptop too?

    Yes.

Did you already use the recovery that came with the laptop? That should have also reset it to factory new state.

I tried that, it worked one time when my computer got stuck while loading, but it didn't 100% reset it for some reason... Which is why I think something is wrong with my computer. :-(

I am trying your method, Ztruker. It is creating the ISO right now. After it is on the desktop I burn it to a disk and run it, right?

Burn to DVD or create a bootable flash drive then follow this tutorial to do the Clean Install: Clean Install - Windows 8

Wait, will I need a CD key? Windows 8 came pre-installed on my laptop.

    Bashan,

For Windows 8 OEM PCs, the product key will be embedded in the UEIF firmware chip on the motherboard, so the ISO from OPTION ONE below will auto detect it and use it during installation.
