Could Window 8.1 installation be corrupted

I was upgrading from Windows 8 to 8.1. I thought the screen had frozen so I entered the scape key. There was also no mouse icon. The installation continued and successfully completed. I would like to know if the installation could have been corrupted due entering the escape key.

If installation completed successfully than it was not important if you stopped it for a while. Just to check if all is right try this two commands from Command prompt as administrator.
First: sfc /scannow let it finish, note results.
Than: dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
