I am looking to perform a clean reinstall on a PC that I built 4 years ago.
Original OS was Windows Vista. I upgraded to Win 8 when it came out by digital download. Has also been upgraded to Win 8.1 in the last few months.
Performed clean install of Win 8 on new SSD drive (C) but kept Win Vista on original Drive now (D) so I could dual boot.
I have OEM Vista CD. I have no clue about any info from where I bought and downloaded Win 8(was when it was released and was a cheap upgrade). (Would Microsoft have information, is it needed?)
-------
I would like to to do a clean install of Win 8.1 on the SSD drive (C) and get rid of the dual boot of Vista (D). I have backed up everything but would like to leave my (E) hard drive as is with pictures/movies.
-------
How do I perform clean install of Win 8.1 on (C) while reformatting (D) and getting rid of Dual boot option plus associated files, but not touch (E).
Thank you in advance.
