Whs, So far so good with the app isntallation... I need Net framework 3.5, however, to be installed, but it says that it 'couldnt be installed' because it could not access the internet?

But when I open I explorer it works fine... Should I download and do a manual install?

    Thanks again, almost there!

I guess the manual install is your only option.

    Dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFx3 /Source:k:\sources\sxs /all /LimitAccess

run this command from the command prompt (admin) The "K" would be your windows installation media drive

Thanks but it says the source files cannot be found... What do u mean "windows installation media drive"? I installed it on the C: "virtual" drive... What other drives are there??

Also, how can I make the screen bigger? It's very small, even after clicking maximize...

Type Display Resolution on the start page and hit Enter. There you find it. Then see the picture.

Hi, I'd really like to try to get this to work, if I could just get the net framework installed, I think it would fire up. For some reason, it just won't install the framework. The dism command almost worked, but I think im pointing it to the wrong source.

Can you specify exactly where I should point it to? I only have a A, C, And D. drive available to me under the virtual system. I installed it on my "C:\Virtual Machines" folder.

Thanks again for your help. I do see a C:\sources folder in my host drive, but there is nothing in it.

You don't have an installation media drive since you installed from the iso. You would have to use a virtual CD where you store the iso - e.g. this one, but there are many others on the web.

Ok, but what was that command line that the one guy said? What is the point of that, with regards to the net framework? Sweet baby jesus, if I just get this Netframework installed, IM HOME FREE!!!

Also trying to do a fresh install of windows, but I can't even do that, as as soon as windows starts to read the contents of the USB (iso file of windows 8 x86 expanded onto it) it immediately boots into the current OS; Windows x64. Sheesh!!!

    Dankeshoen, again, whs!

Did you set the bootorder to boot from that USB stick. This is funny - if it starts reading them, it should continue. You may have toi set secure boot off.
