Hi all,
I recently installed Windows to Go on my 1TB External Hard Drive. I used AOMEI Partition Assistant Wizard to do it.
I can boot it fine on Inspiron 1560, however when i try to boot it on HP Probook 4530s or HP Elitebook 8460p it gives error
"Disk Read Error. Please Ctrl + Alt + Del to Restart"

Can anyone help please ?

Official WTG or home grown WTG? If home grown, my guess is a driver error. USB 2 or USB 3? If USB 3 try plugging into a USB 2 port.

I used aomei partition Assistant to create it. If it was a driver error it wouldn't have loaded on Inspiron 1560. Also ive used every USB port on the laptop.

Could it be because I am using a large 1tb Partiton to hold the wtg installation?

Different computer = different hardware = different drivers. You're doing something that's unsupported so expect issues. Does the disk read error happen right away or after it boots for a while? How is the WTG drive formatted MBR or GPT? What type of BIOS is in these PC's, UEFI or standard non UEFI?
