Commands should be safe to run, but you should always have a backup copy of your important files.

Do you get any error message when you click on the "Get started" button? For example, "Could not find the recovery environment".

The screenshot below shows when everything is ok.

    Hi Genet,
In now have a "128 mb recovery partition "
But I still can't upgrade to W10 (it freeze on a black screen)
Someone told me that my recovery partition is too small.
So, with minitool partition wizard, I created a free partition of 600 mb
But I can't expand my recovery partition : no "expand" is possible with the Right click.

Can you please help me one more time ?

I've encountered similiar problem (dreaded 80070003 error when updating 8.1 to windows 10). I had 8.0 preinstalled on my laptop and then I upgraded to 8.1. I can't do a refresh (installation media is missing) and I also can't create recovery disk (missing files). Using reagentc /info results in "Failure 3" error message.

    Here's my diskpart.

What should I do? my laptop does not have DVD drive, installing from win 8 would be hassle - I would have to buy/borrow external DVD drive. My system is working perfectly, apart from this problem.
