Solved Windows 8 back to Windows 7

I downloaded win 7 from digital river, and created a usb boot from window 7 USB & DVD tool but when I goto install 7 I get a error saying bootmgr is missing, I have downgraded before fine, and the only way I could get my windows to boot was to reinstall Win 8.1 from start, whats going on?

Gigabyte Z77MX-D3H has a UEFI/BIOS.

The window 7 USB & DVD tool can not make a UEFI bootable USB Drive.
