Activating Windows 8 Pro with Windows 8 CoreSL Key

I bought a lenovo laptop which came preinstalld with Windows 8 Core Single Language and uninstalled to do clean install. Unfortunately Windows 8.1 gives problem so I installed Window 8. I tried a lot but could not find Windows 8 Core Single Language iso so I downloaded en_windows_8_x64_dvd_915440 which is Windows 8 Pro. Now i cant activate and getting message the entered key isnt valid for this edition of Windows. Please Help.

Which lenovo laptop? It helps if we know the machine.

D/l partition guru (free version) . See if you can find the recovery partition with some kind of osimage on it .

Often they are in a folder called "sources". It may be install.wim, or install.esd , or several install.Swm files.

Download this vbs & unblock it & run it to get OEM & Installed keys, if they exist---

I had removed the recovery partiton way back as i wanted to install Linux. I tried that vbs trick but isnt working. Is there any way to downgrade from Windows 8 pro to windows 8 core sl?
