Install Image of C:/Win 7 in same laptop with C:/Win 8.1

    Hi everyone.
The psychological premise for this thread is that when you buy a new laptop, that price includes the sufferance for abandoning your old Operative System. :-)
Anyway... I bought a toshiba satellite with a preinstalled win 8.1. I formatted all that partitioned caos and installed my beloved well known Win 7. Now I have installed win 8.1 again via recovery discs, in order to have a dual boot. Is there a way to install the last image that I created of C:/Win 7 in a new partition?
When I try to install it the only chance that seems to be is that of replacing C:/win 8.1. Suggestions, software, change of Drive letters (how?). Thanks in advance.

Toshiba installed Windows 8.1 in UEFI mode, Windows 7 would need be installed in UEFI mode also.

Dear theog, forgive my ignorance, does it mean that I have no chance to install the win image, or simply I have to set the BIOS in UEFI boot whi I install it?

I don't know if it is a .wim, sorry I meant an image of C:/Windows 7, the partition containing the OS. I create it by means of Windows 7 itself, "Create an Image" in Control Panel/Backup-Restore.

You will need the Windows 7 x64 DVD to install.
