How do I Boot to the correct Partition?

For many folks, the configuration you show for the Lenovo drive did not allow for resets and would fail.

The way to restore the UEFI boot option would be to run the command bootrec /rebuildbcd in a command prompt. Then set that option to first priority in the bios.

Since we do not yet know what recovery media you have available, it is hard to suggest solutions.

We need to know exact results when you attempt some action. The wording or result can be very specific to certain conditions.

Lenovo G580 laptop (Secure Boot: Enabled, Boot Mode: UEFI)

Windows Boot Manager = Windows 8.1 installed on the C: partition
EFI USB Device = Windows 8.1 UEFI boot mode compatible FAT32 USB flash drive

    Saltgrass and genet - Thanks

    BIOS
    Boot UEFI
Info Page shows HDD and DVD
Boot Page DOES NOT show HDD
    only the 2 Network Entries

Proceed to Boot - Logo for a minute or so
    checking Media
Blue Box with Reference to Network Boot - I click only option - OK
    checking Media
Blue Box Referencing other Network Boot - OK
    Computer Proceeds to load Files
    after about 5 mins
Pale Blue (windows type Blue) Screen and the Box for OneKey Recovery V 8.0.0.1219
    2 Options
Restore from Initial Backup or Restore from users backup

    I selected 1st Option
Next - Warning about deleting data
    - OK

    Takes couple of Hours
shows stages through initialising and then Performing it - % Bar at Bottom showing %done - it completed to 100% and Reported SUCESS

    Option Shut Down or Reboot

I tried Reboot 1st time and I got Logo and then it started loading files and Show OneKey Option Box again
I did 2nd time and chose Shut Down
    Same Results

Recovery Media - Don't have any, but Happy to Download whats needed

Info in Early Screenshots were done with the Drive Attached to another computer

Thanks for Helping - If need more info, just ask

    BIOS
    Boot UEFI
Info Page shows HDD and DVD
Boot Page DOES NOT show HDD
    only the 2 Network Entries
Go back one page to Info Page & set HD drive to first boot.

Than make sure Windows Boot Manager is first boot device. (in boot page)

    Hi thehog
    BIOS
Info Page is just that, not live

    Config Page -
    Time/Date Wireless - enb
    Sata Controler AHCI
SVM Support - don't know what this is ??

Security Page - Admin/User/HDD Password - not set
    Secure Boot - Enabled
    Platform Mode - UserMode
    Secure Boot Mode - Standard
Reset to Setup Mode - Enter - side notes - Clear PK Disable secure boot and enter setup Mode
Restore Factory Keys - Enter - side notes - Restore all secure boot database to factory default include PK KEK db and dbx
I don't know what the last 2 really mean

    Boot Page -
    Boot mode - UEFI
    USB Boot - enb
    PXE Boot - enb
    EFI
    Network Boot 0 for IP4
    Network Boot 0 for IP6

    EXIT Page

    OS Optimized Defaults [Win8 64bit]

    That's everything in BIOS

Boot Page DOES NOT show HDD
Windows Boot Manager/HDD must in the boot page for Windows to boot & be first boot device.
