How to get back to 'Pro'

Asus SE200 notebook.

This notebook originally had 8.0 pro with media center. I did a reset and activated. I had to phone it in, where, after speaking in the code presented when online activation failed, Roboboy gave me a multi-part code to enter that allowed activation to complete. And so it did.

However, afterward, the system properties sheet showed merely Windows 8, no pro. The below redacted number formats show the product ID and the CD key.

Am I correct in assuming that I can use the "Change Product Key" link in the system properties and enter the Product ID below (it's the right format...4 groups of 5 characters). Or am I just begging for trouble (seems like this system had been nothing but...).
