I know this is not the answer you are looking for but if you only use office occasionally why not use "open Office" I believe it now reads word and excel files.

    Nice Tutorial Wolfgang!!!

Can't give the rep it deserves, have to spread it around first.

That is perfectly alright Keith. Shawn has asked me to also put it into the tutorial section, so I did. I like the PDF version better - fancier Word setup that you cannot do in the tutorial section.

    Hi there

Not trying to be "The 5th player in a String Quartet" but perhaps you should mention in your EXCELLENT tutorial that if you are actually USING a W8 system to create the Windows to Go there is a BUILT IN ISO mounter
just right click in explorer and choose MOUNT.

If for some reason you don't see the Mount option you can still in explorer just double click the icon and chose open with Explorer.

Save the need for thrid party virtual CD / DVD type tools.

    Cheers

Thanks Jimbo for the suggestion. I did not even know that. Will investigate. I did not bother to search any further because the Virtual Clone Drive program was so dead simple. But a native facility is, of course, preferable.

Yes, there are many different ways of doing it. I chose this one because I thought it would be easy even for people who are usually not playing around with the system files.

Btw: I have now posted the tut in the Windows 8 forum tutorial section.
