How to rectify mistake - moved folder from C to D drive

    Hi,

I wanted to move my DOWNLOADS folder from C:\Users\Gordon\Downloads to D:\Downloads. So I opened up PROPERTIES in the C:\Users\Gordon\Downloads folder and used the MOVE tab to send it to D:\, but I didn't create a DOWNLOADS folder in the D drive, so now all my downloads go directly into D:\

Can anyone please tell me how I can now move my downloads to be saved in D:\Downloads and not in D:\

    Thanks!!
    Gordon

First restore the original location, User Folders - Restore Default Location - Windows 7 Help Forums
Then create a Downloads folder on your D drive and do this, User Folders - Change Default Location - Windows 7 Help Forums

Good stuff. By the way, I did the same thing the first time I tried to move those folders. That's when I found out it only actually moves the contents of the folders.
