Windows 8.1 Crashed

10447544_721508621243325_7023485681410890848_n.jpgWindows has been crashed and i am not able to access any windows apps as in screenshot,but able to use another softwares. Also, file explorer isn't working properly. I tried repairing but i am getting error.
Please help or i might need to reboot anytime.

boot from installation disk when asked choose country and keyboard. On next screen look bottom left and select repair pc. Keep clicking on advanced tools until you see "command window" then select that ( Otherwise known as dos window ) then type in
SFC /scannow and let it do its work. it will take 5 to 10 mins but is checking for missing or corrupt system files and will auto repair / re-install.

If that fails and you cannot boot into windows do same procedure but select automatically repair startup

And if that fails same procedure but select Refresh system files - this will not loose you your programs and settings

If you have a system restore or backup image you could use that .

As a last resort get hold of something like Acronis True Image (30 day fully functional trial available free) take a backup of at least all your user files and do a complete re-install and then recover your user files.
