I RMA'd an SSD and just today got the replacement. I need to move my previous boot partition over to the SSD and boot from the SSD instead. I used EaseUS Todo Backup to clone the partition to the SSD, then I used EasyBCD to change the boot partition to the SSD. (I use GPT on all of my disks, for the record.) I'm now presented with the below screen at boot time. It sits there for about 15 seconds then the computer just shuts off.
After that problem happened, I set up the SSD for GPT by following the instructions here, still have the same problem. I then followed these instructions (top answer) to set up the SSD, and the only change that had was that I now have two bootloaders, one on the original drive and one on the SSD (don't know which one is actually being used). Finally, in case the cloning software had an issue with GPT, I used a Linux live USB to dd the old partition to the new one, but the problem persists.
Any ideas on how I can fix this and use my computer again?
