Restore Windows Image on Macbook Air

I installed Windows on my friends MacBook Air using Bootcamp a few months ago. At that time I made a Windows Image to an external hard drive, not really sure if it was even feasible to restore it. Has anyone tried doing a restore in a situation like this, or know if it is possible?

Thanks

I can highly recommend you to use WinClone 4 to make clones of your BootCamped Windows partition. 100% users satisfaction creating and restoring made easy in just a few simple steps (at least for me)

Thanks for the info, I'll consider WinClone for the future. But this Mac is having issues right now, to late for thinking about WinClone at this time. I am wondering if anyone has used restored a Windows Image to a Mac.

The biggest issue with the Win Image seems to me that you need to boot from a Windows Repair disk to use the image with Windows 7, as far as I know. It seems doubtful that a Mac would boot from a Windows Repair disk. Any thoughts on this?
