KB2955164 - fails to install

Downloaded via MS Update fine, it went through the installation process and then requested a Restart, clicked the button and it went into restart mode. Got to about 90% and then said it would not finish the installation and was going to undo the update. Does the undo and system works ok.
MS say it needs to have had KB2919355 previously installed, which according to my update history was successfully done April 17th - I have also tried to update via the MS Download Centre selecting only the 1st (exclude Server and x64 updates) but still the same problem. Any ideas suggestion etc.
kb2955164 - Search Microsoft.com

Try enabling App Readiness in the services tab of Msconfig, reboot and try to install the update.. Once done, disable the App Readiness.

It may take longer to boot until disabled again.

App Readiness is Enabled, as well as all other MS items, none has never been changed since initial purchase and updates.

Ran dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth =====> No problems detected
Ran sfc /scannow =====> No Problems detected
Turned Off AV software and tried update again, same result as originally (Undo changes and Restart)
System works fine, just can't get this update to do it's thing

ThreatTrack VIPRE Internet Security 2014 - had that on this (Win8) and 2 other machines (Win7) - no problems with updates before

Uninstall it and try, you may reinstall it again after.
