Factory Reset on windows 8 says "Some files are Missing"

Hi, I have an Asus gaming laptop that I got off of Craigslist awhile back. It did not come with any factory disks. I'm trying to do a factory reset and it says "Some files are missing. Your Windows installation or recovery media will provide these files." But I don't have any recovery media. Is there a way to fix this?
    Thanks

If you have a Recovery Partition on the computer, try again. It may also be corrupted and you will have to order Recovery Disks from Asus. See also the recovery process from Asus:

Would ordering a Windows 8 disk work?

If you are talking about a new full Windows 8.l version, yes. I suggest the Pro version.

Why would you want to do that, it would be cheaper to order the Recovery Disk from Asus to reset your machine to original factory conditions.
