error 0x800F081F trying to install update for windows 8.1

I tried doing the steps found in this guide:

but option 1 failed

i tried option 2 and it also failed this is what i got on the 3rd command:

windows 8 update fail

I had problems installing updates for windows 8.1 so i refreshed back to windows 8 and had the same problems


this is my progress:

after it reached that certain point it would get this error everytime i tried again:

so i tried the method 1 after clicking the get help button and got this:

googled what that meant and downloaded the windows update diagnostic tool and got this:

seeing that method 1 probably is not the best course of action i tried method 2
but after entering the second command this is what i got:

so whats up?
