I'm having absolutely no joy trying to install KB2919442 and KB2919355 on my Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit PC, I just keep getting the message "The update is not applicable to your computer" so I guess I'm going to have to do a "Refresh" of Windows 8.1 to allow me to get the Windows 8.1 "Update". (I swear it shouldn't be this difficult)
I've mounted the Windows 8.1 ISO and have a bootable DVD with version 6.3.9600.16384 of the setup.exe (I hope that will be the 8.1 and not 8 but knowing my luck it'll be the wrong version).
When I put the DVD in my PC's DVD drive then restart the PC and go to my BIOS and select my PC to boot from DVD I get two options:-
P4: Optiac DVD RW AD-7800H "OR"
UEFI: P4: Optiac DVD RW AD-7800H
Which should I choose, the motherboard is an Asus Maximus V Gene that uses the enhanced BIOS that is mouse operated, does that mean I need to the UEFI option?
