Does performing clean install delete recovery partition?

Hello all!

I'm wondering to make a clean install on my Samsung Series 5 550P5C, but I hear from here to there that when I do it I will delete my Recovery Partition (which I would like to have on the disc in some radical case). Howaver I saw a thread when someone performed a clean install and didn't lost the recovery partition. Additionally I think it should not be able to remove it installing Windows on C partition, as this is another partition on the disc - than Recovery part. is. Could you give me some advise?

BTW. I was co-oping with mr. google for a long time, and didn't find anything until I'm now creating this thread. Thanks!

Have you made the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Disks?

information   Information

We always assume you have made your Recovery Disks using the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Media Creator app the first day you had your new PC.
& made the Startup Repair CD. (Windows 8 only)

I would recommend you making the OEM manufacturer's Recovery DVD's or USB drive.
or
You can order the Microsoft official OEM Recovery disks from the OEM manufacturer's website.

When using OEM Recovery disks, install will clean the HDD & replace all the partitions, as was on day one.

I would like to not format my disc, just partition C. I have all my personal data and multimedia ONLY on second partition, and I just want to change sammy-modified Windows with clean Windows. What do you suggest. And, replying my question - does clean install with just a Windows Installation Disc (straight from Microsoft) erase my Recovery partition?

5. If prompted, select if you would like to remove all files from all drives or only the Windows 8 drive. (see screenshot below)
NOTE: You will only see this if you have more than one HDD or partition with a drive letter.

You can clean install Windows without erasing the factory recovery partition but you will likely break the link to it that lets you use it. The custom OEM Function key/utility to access it likely won't work anymore and the newly installed Windows won't use it either.

You can reset it. That is what reagentc is for. We have been doing it in win7 for years. This isn't an oem machine, but I have set up the reimage and osimage .
