Transfer Windows 8.1 to SSD Help Requested...

I have a Toshiba Qosmio X870-BT3G23 and it has 2 1TB HDDs in it. I just purchased a SSD and want to use that drive as primary with OS installed. Is this possible and how would I go about doing it? My computer came pre-installed with Windows 8 64bit. Help appreciated

Did you purchase an SSD that came with data migrating and cloning software? If so, did it contain a cable as well? And, you left out the specific SSD model you purchased so please update your thread accordingly because that information may prove to be very important.

Have you made the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Disks?

    1) Physically disconnect/remove the 2 1TB HDD.

    2) Clean install with the Toshiba OEM manufacturer's Recovery Disk.
