Solved Windows 8.1 partially installed on my SSD?

So... Basically long story short is that I was trying to install windows 8.1 on my new SSD for my laptop. However during the installation process, I accidentally unplugged the USB drive that had the Windows 8.1 install on it and the process was interrupted.

Now whenever I plug in that SSD into my laptop it gets stuck in this "boot loop" kind of deal where I hear it start up and turn off all in a matter of 10 seconds or so and all I get is a black screen.

Without the second hard drive my laptop runs almost flawlessly. Only issue is upon booting up it asks which operating system to use and gives me two options: Boot from Windows 8.1 or Boot from Windows 8.1 volume 4.

So yeah.. Anyone have any tips on how to salvage my SSD from this mess?

Any other details about my situation can be provided, just ask!

Thanks for your time,
Lieutenant Pope

How would I figure out what the drive letters are? Sorry to be pathetic here but I'm still getting used to 8.1 after having XP lol. And the terabyte drive has pre-installed windows 8 and the drive I have is copy that I purchased and mounted on a flash drive (they dont put it on disks like the good ole days).

Have you made the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Disks?

information   Information

We always assume you have made your Recovery Disks using the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Media Creator app the first day you had your new PC.
& made the Startup Repair CD. (Windows 8 only)
