I bought SSD and I want to install windows 8.1 there.
I have HDD which runs windows XP.
I have no usb, no ODD.
I think I have to boot a setup file instead of windows XP but I don't know how to do it.
What should I do?

Hello PQ8556,

My recommendation would be if you can borrow a USB drive from a friend or purchase; usb drive will have to be a minimum of 4gb to be able to store the .ISO file.

If you have purchased a retail version of Windows 8/8.1 you can run through this tutorial and you will be able to download Windows 8/8.1:

To create a Bootable USB Drive:

Then to do a clean install of Windows 8:

I hope this helps.

Cheers,
