Is it possible to switch out SDD's?

I was wanting to dual boot Win7 and Win8 but I just want to switch out the SDD's to this. Is this possible? Or will the secure boot thing mess up the Win8 installation?

Well it seems that if your removing your SSD that has the win 8 install, it would never see the Win 7 installation If it doesn't turn off secure boot in your BIOS

It kind of sounds like he wan't to use a seperate ssd for each o.s. I'm not sure on the fundamentals of SecureBoot in your U.E.F.I. as far as Windows 7. I don't think it work's in 7 though, as it was a new feature added to Windows 8. Thus, I'm unsure how you'd go about it for both, but I would leave it enabled for 8/8.1/8.1 Rollup 1. It keep's rootkits off your pc at startup.

Thanks for the quick replies. And yes I would like to use seperate SDD's for each O/S. I have an Asus p9x79E-WS. It has a
UEF-Interface. I would set up Seven with a EFI Bios Mode but no secure boot. I also know that enabling Windows Eight secure boot is well .....secure as brkkab123 stated above. Would that cause problems? Maybe I should just follow the tutorial on Dual booting Win7 and Win8. hmmmm..

I think I would follow the tutorial. I did a dual boot on my P7P55D-E Pro, of course it did not support Secure boot, I had Win 7 SP1 Pro on and added a SSD installing Win 8 there. Worked great as long as I kept win 8 in control, once I change the boot to to windows 7 I had to go though the Win 7 dual boot process which is several click longer routine. Leave Win 8 the priority boot and your only 1 click away for booting your windows 7 system. I wouldn't worry about secure boot until your fully on win 8. Its really a pain in the butt anyway if your a power user.
