about upgrading to 8.1

because my internet connection is low i know downloading about 4 gb takes about a day so what i'm wondering about here is if i lose connection in the middle of the download progress do i have to start all over again or is there a resume somehow

i checked and i everything is fine so is that mean if i turn off the pc during the update and turn it on back i will resume from where i stopped and do i have to disable the anti virus for nothing to goes wrong?

i heard tow many people facing the problem of resuming the update i'm i wrong?
