Disable secure boot

Hi, i want to disable secure boot so i can use my new gpu but i've heard that you must disable secure boot and enable legacy boot.
if I do this, can i still boot Windows 8 or do you have to reinstall windows 8?

A up to date GPU is fine with Secure Boot ENABLED.

Just enabling the CSM should allow you to boot with the Video Card. I have to run my system that way because I dual boot Windows 7.

I have a Nvidia GTX 680 which needed a firmware update to be able to boot with the Windows 8 Secure boot. The firmware update was provided by the card manufacturer, but some newer cards are already capable.
