Upgrading problems

not actual problem, but it's frustrating to see that my hard disc has been filled to 300 Gb
when i checked why i saw this



I clicked it once, and pressed 'delete'

It started to count the files inside. After a while it required permissions to do that operation (i clicked ok, and it keep counting files)

Then the recycling started, after a while it required permissions to do that operation again... (i clicked ok, and it started all over)

And it made an infinite loop. Does anyone know how to remove it?

Save your important files and format you HD partition or where ever you have it
Reinstall clean bud :}

Maybe is hould, it didn't back up my software as i expected (yes, it's the first time i ever upgraded. usually i do clean installs)

Open disk cleanup.
Does it give you option that says Old Windows files or something similar to it?

It happen when I upgrade to W7 2 years ago and it drove me nuts lol

Can you give me just a little more information about it? i can't seem to find any disc cleanup options, all i found was disc management.

Start
write "clean"
switch into Settings
Choose "Free up disk space by deleting unnecessary files"
Chose Windows drive

And hope that it will give you option to delete old Windows files.

EDIT: Actually, you could just press + W to directly search "Settings"
