    Emergency:
I tried to add a new volume, and I turned my disks into these:

And they don't say Primary Partition, how will I fix this?

The problem here is the way the bootloader works, because,
The Windows 8 bootloader shows up the menu, and if you want to go on another OS other than Win8, you select the one, and then it shuts down the computer, presumably changing the Active partition, only problem is you cant now

My smooth flight just experienced some major turbulence (metaphorically)

HP_Tools contains various folders called BIOS, but what I did, was I made WIN8DOCS and it said if I want to change the disk to something, and I thought it was only that partition, so I hit Yes, and all the drive's turned browny-gold color, and didn't say Primary, so I freaked out.

Now the Windows 8 OS disk is a Logical partition, is this normal, it booted normally, so its not too much of a concern, but the WIN8DOCS was the one I was meant to make Logical, which I never ended up doing.

What I would do is delete Partition H: & D:, than SHRINK C: to suit.

    than install Windows 8.

Installed Program Files should always be on C: Windows 7 or C: Windows 8.
