Sasmung Ativ tab refresh and install windows help

Hello,

im helping a family friend out, who bought a used Samsung tab from ebay for Christmas, it has windows rt installed, the tab was bought over 45 days ago so theres no way of putting a claim in via paypal

im trying to "remove everything and reinstall windows" via the settings

however there's an administrator account on the tab and i dont know the password, so there seems to be no possible way to reset the tab to factory defaults without knowing the password

is there anyway of resetting this?

Have you made the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Disks?

I would recommend you making the OEM manufacturer's Recovery DVD's or USB drive.

You can order the Microsoft official OEM Recovery disks from your OEM manufacturer's website.

thanks theog for the reply, your reply isnt relevant for this i dont think, you link to a laptop, this is a 10 inch tablet?

i have have no software with the tablet

You have to make the Recovery disks yourself or order from Samsung.
