    But for mounting, and other disc files, like .bin (anything other than .iso) you will need seperate program.

    But W8 DP is .iso, and all you have to do is double-click on it, and it will open the burning screen.

    no, not the w8. ive installed win8. ive downloaded files that would extend my primary partition. however, it seems that im unable to burn.

    whyyyyy ,

    cant boot from the disc...

    is there a software which could allow me to extend the partition while the windows are running?

    Mirac, go to the Norton beta forum, get the 360 v6 beta, it has a graphical tool in it that can increase your logical disk/partition.

    you DO know that Norton is antivirus?

    no, norton has no tool that could do it...

    Norton 360 ISN'T just a anti-virus, it has a ton of tools as well! Go into the PC Tuneup section, you will find a tool in there to extend your local partition. Also weird, it isn't blocking bit defender on any of my computers.

    Easus partition manager does it and works in WDP

Windows 8, 64-bit. Used to run Win 7 on our main drive, and used a second one for storage (mainly games), however something happened, making us unable to boot. So we decided to upgrade to Windows 8, which we put on our secondary drive, and that's now the main one (boots from here, is Disk 0)....
look like im not the only one trying to do this. i get as far as " a driver is needed to continue installation" not found, make sure its on the right media. heres is what i got done on my own.. 1- BIOS setting "legacy" and UEFI" boot from USB. 2-F9 to choose boot order.. selected USB device...

Is there a way to remove "Win7 Boot Manager"? Because after the 1st Boot of the Day it stops at win8 light blue screen and gives the choice, Win7 and Win8 they both work here. , But when the Computer 'Re-Boots" , It stops at "Win7 Boot Manager" but does not let me make a choice, it just times out...

Are there any special steps i need to follow rather than just installing Win8 to another drive? Also, i guess that Win7 drivers will work on Win8, right?
