    I want to install but...

Hi. I currently have Windows 7 and Linux Mint on my laptop. And I also want to install W8. But there's one problem.

In the picture, W7 installed in C, Linux installed in *, and E is for data storage. But I don't know why it says Active&Boot for E drive. As you know, we can't create more then 4 primary partition. So I am wondering if I change drive E as a logical partition, can it cause any problem to me ? Thanks !

    Active&Boot for E drive.
The partition must be Primary, as you installed the Windows boot files to that partition.

NO, not the Windows folder, you installed the Windows boot files to that partition, that is why the partition is marked ACTIVE & BOOT.

    You can do this
Bootmgr - Move to C:\ with EasyBCD - Windows 7 Help Forums
but Linux may not boot after.

I can reinstall grub2. So if I move boot files to C, may I able to change drive E to logical one ?
