Recovery Related-Finally was able to burn Windows 8.1 ISO

Ok I was finally able to burn the 8.1 ISO to a DVD. However, when I went to do a "refresh" from the recovery screen it says no media available. I have been using Windows for a lot of years, and this has been the most frustrated I have ever been. How can I do a "Refresh" with the ISO mounted to a DVD ROM?

Can't you put the DVD in the optical drive and do a refresh?

I did. My version of 8 is not an OEM version. It was the upgrade version from 7. I purchased it last January. Can I still use that?

Ok I got to the screen. However, when it asks me what I want to keep, the only option is "nothing"? Does that mean I would have to reinstall all of my Apps? If that is the case I may have to postpone doing this. I don't have time to do that right now.
