Hi
I am running two operating systems on my Samsung series 3 laptop:
1/ Windows 8.1 from my internal hard drive.
2/ Ubuntu 13.10 from an external San Disk extreme USB flash drive (very fast).
To start Windows 8.1 I just press the power button, to start Ubuntu I press F10 after pressing the power button then select Ubuntu.
My Problem is that my boot device screen shows the wrong information and also repeats itself.
The screen reads as follows:
Please select boot device:
Windows Boot Manager (PO: Hitachi HTS547550A9E384)
Ubuntu (PO: Hitachi HTS547550A9E384)
Windows Boot Manager (PO: Hitachi HTS547550A9E384)
Ubuntu (PO: Hitachi HTS547550A9E384)
Enter set up
Is there an easy way of removing the duplicate script and make the Ubuntu selection show the correct device.
The top two are the only ones that work.
Sorry for the length of the letter.
Regards.
Northerner.
