Hi, please could you take a look at the answer here: Anybody gotten the DVD to boot UEFI? - Microsoft Community I am trying to reproduce it but I can't enter the command correctly. I have mount the ISO file of Windows 8 release preview with Daemon Tools, the letter of my virtual disk is F but I don't know which letters of the command I should replace. I don't can't see such an option to boot from UEFI. My BIOS is the same as here: HP Pavilon G6 G series 1005st BIOS - YouTube

I have also tried option 2 here https://www.eightforums.com/tutorials...ad-create.html but I don't have ESD files how to create them. I want to create a bootable DVD disc with UEFI support because the ISO which the Upgrade assistant downloads doesn't support it. Maybe this is because I can't see an option to run the disc in UEFI mode.

From what I can in the video, that is Legacy mode BIOS.

    Run this check:
BIOS Mode - See if Windows Boot in UEFI or Legacy Mode

I have a UEFI which can be used for Diagnostic of the PC like Memory Check and Hard disk check and so on. But I don't know how to make a UEFI compatible DVD disc. Tried following the steps in the answer here Anybody gotten the DVD to boot UEFI? - Microsoft Community but it's too hard to understand the command of that tool.

As the BIOS is LEGACY, you can not install in UEFI mode.

But the HP Techician told me that my PC and BIOS version supports UEFI. He told me to try to install from a USB. You can see it here: Windows 8 installation UEFI problem. - HP Support Forum - 3074073
