Windows 8.1 Installation problems.

So here is the problem, I left installation running overnight. Come back to the Laptop boot it up and I get Automatic repair running. It can't fix problems, whatever it encountered and I can't get back in now.

Running a Laptop refresh does nothing, it reports it encountered errors. System restore comes back with Unspecified error during System Restore 0x800700b7. What should I do to recover my laptop?

I'm running on ASUS laptop there is a recovery partition but I don't know how to get it.
Windows 8 came pre-installed.

What's the reason to not let it run overnight? I always did it before and it worked fine
