    Hi there
I updated too ("Installed from new" )again - no significant problems - unless you use some Language Packs that aren't (yet) available for W8.1 - some touch drivers might also need to be re0tained from the hardware manufacturer if you use touch - otherwise good to go.

Remember though IE is IE11 NOT IE10 so you might need to set IE to compatibility view to view some websites and disable the enhanced security mode (in security) if you use some media streaming services and Silverlight or some VPN's.

ISO from TechNet is the latest version. They are all Multi-activation though not technically VL which means activate normally but they don't require a KMS server) if you have an individual rather than a corporate account.

To activate after install - simply change product key - enter your TechNet key -- if you don't see the menu in control panel then from command mode type SLUI 3.

Windows 8 Enterprise User Rights question in User Accounts and Family Safety
We normally do not give our internal users Administrator rights to their PCs. With Windows 8, there are a ton of things they can't do (unless they have Admin rights) including add a Network Printer. That's a big deal in our testing right now. Power Users, a legacy from XP, doesn't actually do...
I apologize if this has been answered already elsewhere, the search didn't bear fruit. I'm trying to hunt down an answer for a family member and haven't had much luck as of yet. I even tried to call into Microsoft but their phone reps couldn't seem to understand the details of the question. A...
