Hello Eight Forums community,
I have a bit of an annoying issue here; my young cousin has bought himself a win8 laptop (Home I presume as it is locked down from running lusrmgr.msc). Unfortunately in his haste he ran through the out of box experience with his mother and they used her email for the Microsoft Passport account (as this is how Windows log-ins now occur).
The problem I see is that my cousins account is set up with a passport that is pointing at his mums email address and any MS web services that he subscribes to may get linked to this email address which is not desired.
We have tried setting up a new account but it complained when I tried to set up two accounts with the same passport account.
The way I figure it is that I need to set up a local account that is member of the local admin group; delete the messed up account and recreate it with the new passport account that I set up for him.
Is there any quicker way of doing this or have I got the basic method of fixing the issue down?
