I checked the Owner's manual for your system and the pages concerning the Bios setup seem to be lacking.
Since I have never (yet) seen a system where you had to actually type in the boot devices, I will ask you to be a little more specific about where this menu is you are referring to. Is it some type of ASUS utility?
The Windows Boot Manger is the boot option for a UEFI install. A Legacy install would show the hard drive itself. Boot devices will show or not show, depending on how the bios is set up. If you have it set for UEFI, those will show, if you have a bootable UEFI device, which means a DVD or flash drive with the UEFI compatible media loaded prior to boot.
As an example, the .iso file made with the original Windows 8 download process would not make a UEFI compatible DVD, so it would only show as Legacy. A Windows 7 Install DVD will show as UEFI and Legacy.
I may be misunderstanding your situation, but hopefully it will become more clear.
I agree that you can, but I only seem to have one item to set (Windows Boot Mgr-->Hard Drive). I need to add some additional items to have a boot order to set. I just don't know how to set them up (i.e. what values are required in each field).
Is it possible for you to take a photo of what you see on that screen, and post it?

OK, here are the pictures. Sorry for the flash distortion, I just have a small hand held P & S camera.
Step 1: Enter the main UEFI BOS Setup menu (Aptio Setup Utility Copyright 2012 by American Megatrends).
Step 2: Proceed to the "Boot" tab. You are then presented with this screen
As you can see, there is only one boot option to prioritize. If there were more, i could reset the order using the "Boot Option Priority" selection.
Step 3: Scroll down to "Add New Boot Option" (now appears in white). Press Enter. You are now presented with this screen:
Step 4: Press "Enter" on "Add Boot Option" You'll see a pop up for the option "name" as in this screen:
Step 5: Enter the name of your choice and press enter. Then scroll down to the next input, "Select Filesystem" and press enter. You are greeted with this screen:
The instructions on the upper right (if you could see them) tell you to select a file system "from the list provided." But, as you can see, there is only a list of "one" entry, and it doesn't seem to have anything to do with the optical drive.
Step 6: Assuming you were to pick a filesystem, you'd proceed to the next input entry as in this screen:
This is the "Path for the Boot Device" entry. I believe it wants the EFI path, but I have no idea what that is for the optical drive I have installed, and nowhere in the instructions does it tell me what it is or how to specify it.
Step 7: Assuming you were able to find the correct "path" spec, the next step is to "Create" the entry:
And Voila! You have an additional boot option in the main boot menu. Of course, it you don't know the proper inputs, it won't create it.
Again sorry for the flash distortion. I hope this helps clarify my perdicament.
Thanks all, for your help so far.
