My ASUS X8AIE cannot run Windows 8 well

I could install Windows 8 on my laptop. But it usually crash after a short time using. In that time, I cannot do anything, I must hold and press power button in 10 seconds to shutdown it! And I also restarted many times, but still not!


I also installed the latest driver compatible with windows 8. My installed windows 8 was genuine. My laptop ran Windows 7 very well. These are my laptop information:


ASUS X8AIE T6670
Procesor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz
Installed Memory: 4GB (DDRAM 3)
Graphic device: NVIDIA GeForce 310M (512 MB)
Display: 14 inches (1366 x 768, 32 bit, 60 Hz)

Run sfc /scannow in Administrator command prompt & see if finds things it cannot fix.

If it does, run

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

in Administrator command prompt & when it finishes reboot & run sfc again.

This takes up to an hour to do.

Post back with results.
