New Laptop like to do clean install of Windows 8

I just purchased a new Toshiba laptop it comes with Windows 8 Home 64 bit. It has been my custom when purchasing a new computer to do a complete clean install to get rid of all the bloatware that comes on the new machine. There is no Windows 8 dvd it is pre installed and I only have the Win 8 User Key how do I go out wiping out the new computer and starting fresh? Never had to deal with not having a disk before so uncharted waters for me..............

Getting the install media to do a clean install can be a pain. I did what you want to do on my ASUS laptop. In my case I swapped the hard drive for an SSD and did a clean install. I ended up downloading an ISO file from a bitt-torrent site. I compared the MD5 hash to what's posted on TechNet to verify it hadn't been modified. I now have a TechNet account so I downloaded a new ISO from there. You won't need the product code. Official unmodified install media will read the embedded code in the BIOS and install the matching version automatically. 8 core gets installed on my laptop as that's what it shipped with. My embedded code is only good for 8 core. Activation is automatic the first time you connect to the Internet. You'll want to download your drivers before hand just in case they are needed.

EDIT: as mentioned above, once you delete the recovery partition there is no going back. I made a recovery thumb drive but it wouldn't restore to the SSD. Likely because it was much smaller in size than the original hard drive that came in the laptop. Even if you don't delete the recovery partition, just installing Windows 8 may make it unusable. The function key used to access it may not work because the boot loader on the drive has been rewritten during the install.
