    Windows 8 OEM can't refresh/reinstall

Hi. I have an pre-installed W8 in my notebook. When I first got the PC, I got only C:/ partition so I needed D:/ and for doing this I used EaseUS Partition Manager. This is just a guess but I guess Windows can't find those recover partitions that are in my HDD. I haven't deleted those partitions just created D:/ and here is a screenshot I just take to show you the partitions I have.

I have already tried copying the Install.wim from my BIOS_RVY partition which was about 9GB and I moved it to C:/WinRec and used this command as I saw it from internet : reagentc.exe /setosimage /path C:\WinRec /target c:\Windows /Index 1

But i still get the error : ""Insert media some files are missing. Your Windows installation or recovery medial will provide these files."

This method didn't worked so any other too. I wonder how can I refresh or some sort of return my notebook to the factory settings from the recovery parts I have. My notebook is MSI-GE60 bought it one month ago.

You can order Microsoft official OEM Recovery disks from your OEM manufacturer's website.

You can order Recovery disks from:

Seems like you have corrupted recovery - you can re-download from here (not sure if an OEM_DM key will work (you can get it with RW-Everything from the MSDM table) ... if it does it will select the correct edition - but there other alternatives to download as you may be aware - best of luck

It doesn't work with OEM machines.

I will keep this as my last option. Because this website requires my computer to be saved to there. You know, it requires proof of purchase, product ID etc. I don't want to deal with those stuff.

Yup just tested that - OEM(DM or NONSLP and SL keys don't work) works with WMC keys tho' - If you have Core (not single language or the like) or Pro I can PM you a key to download - the install will, fingers crossed, grab the correct key from the bios when installing...alternatively d/l a genuine (hash) ISO from elsewhere and do the upgrade from that...

I've already downloaded a Windows 8 from torrent. But I have single language key which is in my BIOS. Will that work if I mount that image that I downloaded as ISO to a DVD?

But I really don't want to use that method. It would be better if I could just fix this thing. Why is the method which I change the main directory of W8 installation files doesn't work? It still can't find the files but the files are right there. There must be something I can do.

As long as you downloaded as SL iso - but these are hard to find AFAIK.. can only conclude the existing files are corrupted - never had that problem so unfortunately a bit clueless

Yes, I don't have SL iso and it might be so hard to find those. Since my language is Turkish. I believe, those sections - WinRE and BIOS_RVY - were already there when I got the PC. I mean there were WinRE, BIOS_RVY and C:/ section. When I resized C:/ and created D:/ there must be something wrong. And I still don't know what went wrong. I mean, I refreshed my PC the day I got it those sections were working perfect. But now, probably because of the EaseUS Partition Manager something is wrong and Windows can't locate those files. There has to be someway that I can make Windows re-locate those files from those sections.

Shall I try merging those sections under C:/ ?

Yup Turkish SL will possibly be impossible to find..the only one I found was ** REMOVED ** in case you interested.

You may wanna try EaseUs Partition Recovery.

When using 3rd party Partitioning,Backup & Cloning software, you need to use software which fully supports Windows 8, uEFI, GPT & Secure Boot.
    Which is signed by Microsoft.
